WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY & TERMS

Workmanship Warranty

Kaymar Construction provides a workmanship warranty on all completed works, covering defects arising directly from installation or workmanship.

This warranty applies from the date of completion and is limited to the scope of works carried out by Kaymar Construction.

Warranty Conditions

This warranty is valid only where:

- The works have been completed in full

- The area remains unaltered by third parties after completion

- Proper access was provided to carry out works as required

- Suitable environmental and weather conditions allowed correct installation and curing

- The structure and surrounding materials are sound and fit for purpose

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

- Pre-existing issues, including but not limited to:

  - structural defects  

  - hidden water ingress  

  - building movement  

- Any ongoing or unresolved moisture or leak sources not rectified as part of the works

- Damage or failure caused by:

  - third-party interference or modification  

  - other trades or contractors  

  - lack of maintenance  

  - environmental factors beyond control (weather, storms, etc.)  

- Works that could not be completed as intended due to:

  - restricted access  

  - scheduling delays outside of Kaymar Construction’s control  

Waterproofing & Leak-Related Works

All waterproofing, sealing, and leak rectification works are performed based on visible conditions at the time of inspection.

Kaymar Construction does not guarantee performance where:

- the source of water ingress is external to the treated area  

- underlying or concealed issues are later identified  

- full rectification scope is not approved or accessible  

Failure to address the root cause of water ingress may result in recurrence, which is not covered under warranty.

Third-Party Works

If any third party undertakes works that interfere with, alter, or build upon areas completed by Kaymar Construction:

All warranties relating to the affected works may be deemed void.

Access & Scheduling

Timely and reasonable access must be provided to complete works within suitable timeframes and weather conditions.

Kaymar Construction is not responsible for:

- delays caused by restricted or withdrawn access  

- impacts to performance due to interrupted or staged works outside of agreed scheduling  

Limitation of Liability

Kaymar Construction’s liability is limited to the rectification of its own workmanship only.

No responsibility is accepted for:

- consequential damage  

- indirect losses  

- issues arising outside the original scope of works  

Acceptance of Terms

Acceptance of any quote, invoice, or engagement of services constitutes acceptance of these Warranty & Terms.
